Orthodontic Treatment for All Ages in Atlanta
Do you want to get a dazzling smile without wearing metal braces?
Clear Aligners are one of the best alternatives to metal braces for straightening teeth. Every couple of weeks, you’ll get a new set of custom-made aligners that will gradually move your teeth toward the desired position. Clear Aligners are recommended for orthodontic issues with mild to moderate crowding or spacing.
The best part about treating orthodontic issues with Clear Aligners is that they are virtually undetectable by others, are easy to use, and comfortable to wear.
Clear Aligners let you straighten your teeth without making lifestyle changes.

If your orthodontist determines that Clear Aligners are an option for straightening your teeth, you will get an X-ray and 3D scan of your mouth. From the 3D scan, your orthodontist will create a personalized treatment plan. You will even be able to see what your smile will look like after treatment!
After your scan your orthodontist will order a series of clear, plastic removable trays. Each set of Clear Aligners is worn for approximately two weeks or a length of time determined by your orthodontist. The aligner tray will apply gentle pressure to your teeth. This pressure will move your teeth about 1/10 mm with each tray. Throughout treatment, you will get several aligner trays that you will wear until your teeth are in the desired position.
What Types of Aligners Do We Use At Embrace?
At Embrace Orthodontics, we use Spark and Invisalign Aligners. Both are Clear Aligners that use the most advanced technology to straighten your teeth. Here’s an overview of the two types of Clear Aligners.

Spark Aligners
Spark Aligners are made with TruGEN™, an innovative material that makes the aligners more comfortable, clearer, and less likely to stain. Spark Aligners also improve oral health by preserving gum health. And you can feel confident knowing that Spark Aligners are BPA, mercury, latex, and phthalate free.

Invisalign Aligners
Invisalign uses an iTero Element scanner to take a precise 3D digital scan of your teeth. The aligners are made from SmartTrack material, making them comfortable and easy to get in and out. Invisalign even features mandibular advancement, a great way to fix overbites in teens and tweens while straightening teeth. Precision wings gradually move the lower jaw to improve the bite and appearance of the chin.
Your orthodontist will discuss the Clean Aligner options to determine which will work best for your case.
